Supported Vizio TVS
We currently support models released 2018+ for D,E, & M series:
- Select the settings button (Gear Icon) on the Vizio remote
- Navigate down to the "All Settings"
- Navigate down to "Admin & Privacy"
- Navigate down to "TV Information" and find "Model Name"
You may also verify the software version by doing the following:
- Select the settings button (Gear Icon) on the Vizio remote
- Navigate down to the "All Settings"
- Navigate down to "Admin & Privacy"
- Navigate down to "Check for Updates"
Find Great American Pure Flix on a Vizio TV
- Press the left arrow on your VIZIO remote while on the Home screen.
- Scroll down and select Apps.
- Choose App Search to look for a specific app.
- Select Home Screen Apps to customize what appears on your home screen.
Troubleshoot Great American Pure Flix on a Vizio TV
- Check Your Internet Connection
Press the Menu button on your VIZIO remote, go to Network, and select Test Connection. This will show if your TV is connected and how strong the connection is. - See an Error Code?
Error codes are helpful clues! Visit the app’s website, enter the code, and follow the steps to fix the issue. - Try a Power Cycle
Unplug your TV from the wall for 5 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.
Or, go to Reset & Admin in the menu and choose Soft Power Cycle. - Factory Reset (Last Resort)
If nothing else works, go to Admin & Privacy in the menu and select Reset to Factory Settings.
This will erase all settings and logins, so only use it if needed.
How to turn close captions on/off
- Play the title.
- Select the white circle with the small square inside it located on the bottom right side of the control bar.
- Go to and select the word "English" or "Off" and the closed captions will appear or disappear.
Note: Select the dark gray circle with the white "X" inside to close the side panel and return to the title.
How to use
Browse:
- Navigate to the top bar
- Select "Browse"
- Various genres will appear
My List:
- Navigate to the top middle
- Select "My List"
- Titles that you have added to "My List" will appear
Add to/Remove from My List:
- Select title
- Select either "Add to My List" or "Remove from My List"
Account:
- Select the "Head and Shoulders" icon in the top right hand corner
- Here you can Sign Out, view how to Contact Us, view the App Version, review the Terms of Sale, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Your Privacy Choices
Sign out:
- Select the "Head and Shoulders" icon in the top right hand corner
- Select "Sign Out"
Search titles:
- Select the "Magnifying Glass" in the top left hand corner
- Select the "Search Bar"
- A keyboard will appear where you can search titles
- Press done once the desired title is typed
Home:
- Navigate to the top left hand corner
- Select "Home"
