We currently support iOS version 14+
To find the iOS software version installed on your device do the following:
- Go to "Settings" located on the home screen
- Select "General"
- Select "Software Update"
- Verify device is on latest IOS update
Installing Great American Pure Flix
Please follow the below steps to install Great American Pure Flix:
Locate the "App Store" on the home screen
- Open the "App Store" and locate the search or magnifying glass
- Type in "pureflix"
Tap "Get" or select the "Cloud Icon"
iPhone & iPad Troubleshooting
Follow the below steps to help resolve the issue you are experiencing:
Step 1: Test Your Internet Speed
- Go to "Safari" located on the home screen
- Select the search bar on the screen ( located near the top or bottom)
- Click the blue button "Run Speed Test"
- Once the test has finished, check that your download speed matches our minimum requirements
Step 2: Restart your iPad or iPhone:
- Please power off your Apple device
- To turn off your device go to your home screen > settings > general > shutdown > slide to power off
- Wait 30 seconds
- Finally power the device back on by holding the power button until the apple logo appears
Step 3: Delete then Reinstall the Great American Pure Flix App
- Locate the app on the home screen
- Tap and hold the Great American Pure Flix app
- Tap "Remove App"
- Select "Delete App"
- Once the app is deleted, follow the "Installing Great American Pure Flix" steps listed above to reinstall the Great American Pure Flix app
How to turn closed caption on/off
- Play title
- Tap on the screen and select the "Square Box"
- Select "Subtitles", and then select the word "English" or "Off" to turn the closed captions on or off
How to use
Home:
- Tap on the "Home" option located at the bottom left corner (looks like a house) It will redirect you to the "Homepage"
Browse:
- From the home page in the app, not the website, tap on the word "Browse" option located bottom left hand corner (looks like three horizontal lines)
Search titles:
- From the home page in the app, not the website, select the magnifying glass icon located in the top right hand corner
- Select the 'search bar' in the top middle part of the screen
Add to/Remove from My List:
- Option 1
- While browsing the app select the heart icon showing on the title poster
- Option 2
- Select a title
- Select the hear icon on the title poster at the bottom right (shows next to the title duration)
Note: A solid white heart means you added it to your "My List" while a white heart outline means it is not on your "My List"
My List:
- From the home page in the app, not the website, tap on the "My List" option located in the bottom right hand corner (looks like a heart icon)
- From the homepage in the app, tap on the "Head and Shoulders" icon located in the upper right hand corner
- Tap on "Sign out"
