HOW TO TURN CLOSED CAPTIONS ON/OFF

Here is a list of devices that support CC and how to turn them on and off:

Please note that not all devices support closed captioning in the same manner.

Amazon Fire Stick/TV
  • Play title
  • Select CC button from bottom right of control bar

Note: White = On, Transparent = Off

Android Enabled Smart TVs

Note: Pure Flix is only supported on select 2017+ models running Android 7.0+ with access to the Google Play store

  • Play title
  • Select CC button from bottom right of control bar
Note: White = On, Transparent = Off
Android (TV) Boxes
  • Play title
  • Select CC button from bottom right of control bar

Note: White = On, Transparent = Off

Android Phones & Tablets
  • Play title
  • Tap the Caption Box in the upper right of screen

Note: The box has no line through it when on and the box has a line through it when off

Apple Phones & Tablets
  • Play title
  • tap the Caption Box in the upper right of screen

Note: The box has a line through it when on and the box has no line through it when off

Apple TVs
  • Play title
  • Select CC button from bottom right of control bar

Note: White = On, Transparent = Off

Browsers on Computers
  • Play title
  • Select CC button from bottom right of control bar

Note: The box will turn white when on and be transparent when off

LG TVs
  • Play Title
  • Select the white box in the bottom right enabled "EN" or "Off"
Roku Devices
Samsung Smart TVs

Note: At this time, any Samsung released 2020+ running Tizen 5+ is supported. Additionally, Samsung is only supported in the U.S.

  • Play title
  • Select "en"
  • Select "X" to close the window
Vizio TVs
  • Play the title.
  • Select the white circle with the small square inside it located on the bottom right side of the control bar.
  • Go to and select the word "English" or "Off" and the closed captions will appear or disappear.

Note: Select the dark gray circle with the white "X" inside to close the side panel and return to the title.
