Supported LG Smart TV's

Pure Flix is currently supported on any LG Smart TV with WebOS 4.0 and newer

To find your current WebOS please do the following:

  • Click “Settings” (Looks like a gear icon on the remote)
  • Select “All Settings” at the bottom left
  • Select “General” (on the left hand side)
  • Scroll down and select “About this TV
  • Select “TV Information
  • Under WebOS TV Version you will see your current WebOS version
How do I install the Pure Flix app?

As long as you have a supported LG Smart TV you can install the Pure Flix app on your Samsung Smart TV by doing the following:

  1. Click “Home” (looks like a house on the remote)
  2. Scroll to the left and select “Search” (looks like a magnifying glass)
  3. Type “pureflix” in the search bar
  4. Under “Apps” select the Pure Flix app
  5. Select “Install”
  6. Click “Launch”
LG Smart TV Troubleshooting

Step 1: Verify Software Version

  • Click “Settings” (Looks like a gear icon on the remote)
  • Select “All Settings” at the bottom left
  • Select “General” (on the left hand side
  • Scroll down and select “About this TV”
  • You’ll see Software version at the top
    • If there is an update you’ll see a notice below the software version

Step 2: Uninstall App

  • Click “Home” (looks like a house on the remote)
  • Scroll to the right and click on “edit” (looks like a pencil)
  • Scroll down to put yourself on the apps at the bottom
  • DO NOT CLICK ON ANY APPS

  • Scroll over to the Pure Flix app
  • Press up on the remote to highlight the X above the app
  • Select the X
  • Select “Yes” to delete the Pure Flix app

Step 3: Install App

  • Click “Home” (looks like a house on the remote)
  • Scroll to the left and select “Search” (looks like a magnifying glass)
  • Type “pureflix” in the search bar
  • Under “Apps” select the Pure Flix app
  • Select “Install”
  • It will auto add to the end of the home smart bar 
  • (when you click on the home button on the remote it shows the home smart bar)
  • Click “Launch”
