  6. If an update is available select “Update”

  7. Verify the Fire OS version (found on the current screen)

You can install the Pure Flix app on your Amazon Fire Tablet by doing the following:

  1. Press the “Home” button on the Fire Tablet
  2. Navigate to and Select “AppStore” (looks like a white box with the word APPS)
  3. Click “Search” at the top right (looks like a magnifying glass)
  4. Type “Pure Flix” and click the magnifying glass to search
  5. Click “Download” on the Pure Flix app
  6. When the download finishes click “Open”

If you are experiencing an issue with the Pure Flix app on your Amazon Fire Tablet please try resolving the issue with the following steps:

Step 1: Test Your Internet Connection

  1. Press the “Home” button on the Fire Tablet
  2. Navigate to and Select “AppStore” (looks like a white box with the word APPS)
  3. Click “Search” at the top right (looks like a magnifying glass)
  4. Type “Ookla” and click the magnifying glass to search
  5. Click “Download” on the Speedtest by Ookla app
  6. When the download finishes click “Open”
  7. Click “GO” to start the test
  8. Verify the download and upload speed

(Note: If your internet download speed is below 5mbps, please contact your internet provider in regards to your internet speed).

Step 2: Clear the Pure Flix App Data

  1. Press the “Home” button on the Fire Tablet
  2. Navigate to and select “Settings”
  3. Select “Apps & Games”
  4. Select “Manage All Applications”
  5. Select “Pure Flix”
  6. Click “Force Stop” (to verify it is not running in the background)
  7. Click “Clear Cache”
  8. Click “Clear Data”

Step 3: Delete and reinstall the Pure Flix app

  1. Press the “Home” button on the Fire Tablet
  2. Press and Hold the “Pure Flix” App
  3. After a few seconds release and it will receive a checkmark
  4. Click “Uninstall” at the top right
  5. Verify by clicking “OK”
  6. Press the “Home” button on the Fire Tablet
  7. Navigate to and Select “AppStore” (looks like a white box with the word APPS)
  8. Click “Search” at the top right (looks like a magnifying glass)
  9. Type “Pure Flix” and click the magnifying glass to search
  10. Click “Download” on the Pure Flix app
  11. When the download finishes click “Open”
